In addition to serving as the conference venue, Seoul Dragon City is a Hotelplex providing several hotels, including Ibis, Novotel, and Novotel Suites.
Room blocks have been set aside for ICSE attendees in each of the foregoing hotels for ICSE 2020 attendees. A special code that allows you to reserve rooms in these room blocks can be found in the email that will be sent to you when you complete your conference registration.
Please note: These three hotels differ in terms of costs but also in terms of the amenities that they provide (such as, for example, access to fitness centers). To be sure that you choose a room that has the amenities you prefer, we recommend that you consult the hotel web pages prior to booking.
The deadline for using these reservation codes is March 23, 2020; after this date, you should register through the hotel or other web sites.
Follow this link to access the hotel reservation site.
Further note : the room blocks that have been set aside for ICSE attendees do not include all room types available in the Seoul Dragon City hotelplex.
You may be able to obtain less expensive rooms if you are willing to exclude breakfast or to reserve a room by paying in advance on a non-refundable basis. You may also find rooms of classes not included in these room blocks that you would find preferable (e.g., suites in Ibis or Novotel).
You would need to make such reservations independently through the hotel or some alternative web site. Unlike many conferences, ICSE 2020 is not required to meet any room block reservation minimums, so you will not be disadvantaging ICSE or your fellow attendees by choosing to do so.
